Screveton Shed is based at FarmEco in Screveton and has been part of the local community since 2011.

The Shed was originally started by David Rose, who wanted to give his dad and a few friends somewhere to meet, keep busy and enjoy working on projects together. From those first five or six members, it has grown into a thriving group of around 40 people, with a wide range of interests, experience and practical skills.
Originally known as Men in Sheds, the group welcomed women for the first time in 2023. It proved so popular that the separate Men in Sheds and Women in Sheds groups soon came together to become Screveton Shed.
Today, men and women work alongside one another during the mixed sessions, with one dedicated women-only session and one men-only session each week.
Whether you are an experienced maker or simply fancy meeting new people and having a go at something new, newcomers are very welcome.
