The 2026 Village Calendar – Call for Photos
We’re creating the first ever Car Colston & Screveton Village Calendar, and we need your help to fill it with the very best shots of life in our two wonderful villages.
We're looking for...
Whether it’s:
A misty morning on the common
A curious cow
A sun-drenched cricket game
Or someone heroically mowing a lawn
…we want to see what makes our community shine.
How it works
Submit your favourite photo of village life (past or present) – 1 entry per person.
Judging will be carried out by our highly esteemed panel (aka the Village Hall Committee… and possibly someone’s dog).
Twelve winners will have their masterpieces featured in our 2026 calendar, available to buy at our December events and online.
Why enter?
This is, of course, the most prestigious photographic honour in the East Nottinghamshire rural calendar circuit.
Bragging rights are lifelong – and yes, we encourage you to frame your winning month.
